As a travel writing intern, I was responsible for writing informative articles for websites lifeontherhode.com, we3travel.com, and yourtimetofly.com. I worked with the website creator Tamara Gruber to produce stories that would cater best to her audience.
In my role as a closing store manager, I have many responsibilities to ensure the satisfaction of valued customers. This includes managing the store closing process, and ensuring all tasks are completed on time. I also help department heads when needed and make sure all employees are adhering to company policies.
During my time as an editorial intern, I was responsible for crafting blog posts, fact-checking information for the publication, and assisting other editors with projects. Throughout my experience, I had the opportunity to showcase my work in the November, December, January, and February editions of the magazine. Additionally, I was able to collaborate with the special edition editor to write stories for the 2024 Engaged Magazine.
As a digital media intern, I was responsible for writing breaking news articles, selecting video footage for stories, and updating website information. I gained valuable experience working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and developed a better understanding of newsroom operations.
