Marissa Barrett, a recent graduate from Johnson & Wales University, is a dedicated media and communications professional. Throughout her academic journey, Marissa has completed three internships and participated in a Johnson & Wales Directed Experiential Education course focused on marketing for the college. Her internship experiences include time at WPRI 12, Rhode Island Monthly Magazine, and Red Giant Media LLC. Additionally, Marissa has played an active role within her university community, serving as both the Media and Entertainment Section Head and Social Media Coordinator for The Campus Herald, the school's student newspaper. Before joining the school newspaper, Marissa was a part of the Delta Zeta sorority, where she held the leadership role of Vice President of Academics on the executive board.
